If it's like AoS let me ditch it from the pilot I imagine it'll tie into the FOX universe somewhat (X-Men movies and F4) since Kinberg is attached, but I doubt it would have anything major at least before Apocalypse. No characters or cast are tagged yet, Fox just announced their upfronts for advertisers to start bidding so they can see what cash they have to make the series.

And lbr, they're gonna have to go for characters whose powers are... cheap to produce on a budgeted TV show. But still, it could slay!

That would mean they're not moving forward with the 1980s characters from Singer's Apocalypse, or at least aren't moving in the way they progressed with First Class > DOFP > Apocalypse.

I heard it was theatrical. But they are doing a X-Men Live action TV show as well (maybe with less relevant mutants so it doesn't cross and confuse people).

The more I think about that, the more it makes sense that they'd wait for the 2016-2017 season to launch that after Apocalypse so it can tie in with the movies, maybe. JLaw and the cast currently set to head up Apocalypse are not going to be here for a TV series.
