You're going to tell members they can't PM each other about another site because of "spam"? What are you going to do? Ban them? I've read countless times throughout this thread there wasn't anything a mod could do if someone PM'd vulgar stuff, file sharing, and who knows what else but this takes top priority?
You should probably also do the same for any other website where they could interact with one another, maybe Tinychat too?
The fact that you're trying to control private conversations is too much. What else are people going to be scared to type while posting here?

Correct.
Obviously if you and the other person you're PMing are talking about other sites, then neither one of you has any reason to report it or notify us to begin looking into it.
But if you're getting unwanted solicitation to join another site via PM or wall post, then that poster can obviously let us know that they're receiving this and it's unwanted.
We can only control PMs if we're notified. Again if two consenting people are PMing whatever, we have no way of knowing unless one of them chooses to report it to us.
