I've been quiet on the issue but it's getting out of hand. Several members over there have asked members here to join because they like it, who can control that?
You're going to tell members they can't PM each other about another site because of "spam"? What are you going to do? Ban them? I've read countless times throughout this thread there wasn't anything a mod could do if someone PM'd vulgar stuff, file sharing, and who knows what else but this takes top priority?
You should probably also do the same for any other website where they could interact with one another, maybe Tinychat too?
The fact that you're trying to control private conversations is too much. What else are people going to be scared to type while posting here?
