Monsters need to stop saying this to cover up it's so far average iTunes performance considering it's got great promotion already so far. It had a Thanksgiving Special performance (Also uploaded to Vevo), Grammy nomination performance, 2 video teasers before the video's release, debuting on E! and a video out for a day now, still hasn't peaked inside the top 40.
UK had EMAs, CIN, Alan Carr and X-Factor performances and now a video, still hasn't cracked the top 10.

The first half of the video was so not needed. I like storytelling, but that part was redundant. I would have enjoyed it better if they started off with her on the car, kept the studio dance scene and finished with the street dance scene.
After the promo performances I thought "Marry The Night" would be doing much better than this even without the video.
The video will be the last chance for the song to become a hit. I think it will be top 20 but I'm not so sure about a top 10.

Exactly. The song had some time to climb even before the video was released, I just feel the public is indifferent to MTN and lord help us if radio pulls a "Judas" on MTN.
Can people grow the hell up over MTN. It was 75 before the video premiered and now its 37, less than 24 hours after the video premiered. God its not like the general public rush out to watch MTN video. People need to calm down.
