Guys, let's not fool ourselves. #Beautiful was a Miguel leftover song that Mariah re-wrote/finished writing and recorded. That's why it's legit better than any Mariah song since 2005. I doubt Mariah will even include it on her upcoming album.

Sometimes, I wonder what she's thinking when she does half the **** that she does. Le Sigh.

I think Mariah is finally at the point where she can accept that she's not a main pop girl anymore and she can just make music that caters to the lambs. The Art of Letting Go proves she's making the music she wants without thinking about the charts or radio. That time period is pretty much over for her, so why even bother? I'm excited for the album.

Once a pop gurl always a pop gurl. She's never too old to have another huge era and having a great era will always be a great addition to her resume. I remember during 2008 when she was still consider a contender and a lot of people don't see her as a legend. It wasn't until a few years ago that a lot of people deemed her as legend. I guess when the GP deemed her as a legend it hurt her chances to be hot in the music scene again. Not that it's something to complain about.

She can always come back, that's true. I personally just want her sound to be more classic/timeless as opposed to trying to keep up with trends and I think we're getting that with her recent stuff. I don't know what the new single is gonna sound like though. Letting Go grew on me, Beautiful was great, and I really loved Almost Home, but idk if anyone ever remembers that. If the album sounds like those three, I'll be happy. And if the public is here for it, even better.
