The fact that the gap between Memoirs and this new album is longer than the gap between TEOM and Memoirs feels weird. Makes you realize how fast time goes.
I have lost all hope for the new album, guys. I feel a huge disappointment coming. I'm not talking about a commercial or critical disappointment, that's a given, but a quality disappointment. She's been working on this album since 2011 and I have a feeling some of the stuff will sound dated. Sometimes I wish she had enough confidence in herself and her legacy to just release her album.

Tbh even if the rest of the album is crap (which I doubt), #Beautiful and TAOLG alone make up for it as they are A+. I actually wouldn't even be mad if that turns out to be the case.
But I'm sure whatever she'll release will be great. Everyone involved has said good things so guess we'll just have to see.

I don't think so sis. Just remember that "#Beautiful" exists. If she made that song over the past year, I have faith that she can produce many more quality songs. She's always talking about recording more songs for the album, so if something sounds dated, I'm sure she'll scrap it for a newer song.
And if she releases another TAOLG on V-Day, she can just remix it with a Christina Aguilera feature and the album will be saved
