Exactly, you can't just tell people they are black because you want them to be. Latino has become commonly accepted as a racial term in the United States used on GOVERNMENT issued forms.
To inform a Hispanic person that they are Black is not to deny them their hispanicity.
I mean I guess. In the US, most African-American people are mixed with White or Native American to some degree, but many still identify as Black and not multi-racial. I'm not sure why it's not like that there.
But HEY. I've never been to Dominica, so idk.
oh HEY is this me?
cuz this is pretty much what i told him in the chat

i mean Sats, did u even READ the form before u posted it?
it's asking if you're hispanic first & then what ur RACE is second
like i said, u can be a Black Dominica or a black spaniard
thanks for further proving my point with that gov't issued form
Girl, what are you trying to prove? Notice how you can check off "Yes..." and then check off "Black". That is exactly what I'm trying to say. You can be both Hispanic and black. Mixed refers to being racially mixed. You can't racially be Hispanic and black. If you look up "mixed origin" you will only find results about race. As a fellow sister I say this with all sincerity, please stop.
