Oh my god, I've actually never seen these tour videos so I've actually never heard her truly sing live before. She has some issues but it's way better then what I feared. And to think she probably sounds even better now. I so need her to get that music out.
I'm glad you've finally been able to see these.

I don't have any particularly in mind. It's just that all of us jump immediately to the few labels ATRL has any knowledge about, but I feel like at least one of the labels she's talking to is a lesser known, but still mainstream one.
I think she's in negotiations with Epic Records, RCA and Columbia Records
Yeah, I agree with this. RCA is known to controlling their artists (former artists now), so I'll be happy if she is or is able to avoid them because I personally don't think they're the right fit for her. What they're offering to bring to the table is an entirely different story, though. I've got my money pegged on Columbia.

Most likely a Universal Music based label. My picks would be Republic, Interscope or Capitol.

I'm thinking Republic too. But they are hit and miss.
I never understood why she sang live during most of the most wanted tour, often along with the track, but then lip synced the entire still most wanted tour, she really doesn't need to lip sync.
Her look in the Most Wanted Tour reminds me of a young Avril/Kelly Clarkson shes probably way better live now!
I guess as long as she doesn't sign with any of the labels under Warner Music Group or Epic Records (Sony Music Group), we are good to go.
I think it'd actually be kind of cute if she signed with Roc Nation (unlikely, but cute). I feel like the US Kylie could receive invaluable advice and support from the UK Kylie.
Can we all agree that she should go to Interscope/Capitol/EMI.... or any label belongs to UMG?
I will have to total meltdown if she goes to Epic - my faves are on Epic and I know how terrible that label is
RCA, and SMG overall has really big names too, but they never do promo as good as UMG. Most of the time the artists under Sony just sells based on their names/luck/quality of music...
She can go to WMG too, that label suits her. They're doing really well lately, and I believe they will knock SMG out of #2 position soon.

Can you elaborate on that? I only saw Bruno Mars (Atlantic Records) and Cher (Warner Bros Records) under the Warner Music Group that are doing well. There are also a couple of Country acts under that company that are doing well simply because they are men. I'm not seeing how they are a good fit at all.

It's interesting that you big this up good sis because I had the exact same thought earlier. It was a really random thought so I quickly dismissed it but it would be interesting to see Hilary and Kylie on the same label, I still want them to work together in some aspect because they remind me so much of each other, queens.

Cher? are you kidding me? at least she's not flopping that hard in the UK
Ed Sheeran, Janelle Monae, Jason Mraz, Christina Perri, Paramore, Lupe Fiasco, Fun., Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jason Derulo, Flo Rida...
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis is also under Warner (at least in Canada).
Serena Ryder, Simple Plan, Michael Buble, Neil Young... are big names in Canada.
They also signed with some potential new artists such as Charli XCX, Icona Pop...
Like I said, WMG doesn't have that much of BIG names like SMG, but their acts are VERY consistent. Sony acts are really up n down so much, and if they don't get their **** together soon, they will fall to #3.
People usually think Sony is good because of the big names and glory in the past, but seriously, if you look at the recent performances of those big names, you will realize how terrible Sony has become. For example, JT sells mostly because of his name which is also the reason why Sony spends most of their money on him. Brave - without the hype from ROAR, would've flopped. Avril could barely have a hit, Christina is completely based on her luck despite all the promo she gets from The Voice....
Even the whole Sony corp is shaking, not just SMG according to that news article I read in the Lounge few days ago.
So I'd rather see her in WMG - not that much fame like SMG, but she can REALLY get the investment budget. Or my top choice is still UMG, which is obviously the best in many ways.
Roc Nation is probably a good choice. Roc Nation is also a mix between Sony and Universal, so let's say they have some goods of both. The acts under Roc Nation is probably some of the strongest and most consistent acts Sony have at this moment.
Discussion Question: Do you think Hilary should hire as her new stylist?
-Brad Goreski (Clients: Jessica Alba, Rashida Jones, Maya Rudolph, Demi Moore, Noomi Rapace)
-Rob Zangardi & Mariel Haenn (Clients: Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Rachel McAdams, Lily Collins)
-Elizabeth Stewart (Jessica Chastain, Viola Davis, Freida Pinto, Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, Julia Roberts, Amanda Seyfried)
-Petra Flannery (Clients: Emma Stone, Claire Danes, Zoe Saldana, Mila Kunis, Megan Fox, Faith Hill)
urrggg, I have idea about all of these stylists
but since Jenny and Riri are obviously the most stylist pop girls right now, I'd go with Rob Zangardi & Mariel Haenn

Ok. But in the grand scheme of things Canada is a very SMALL blip in the entire world for Hilary to try and dominate. I mean don't get me wrong. Having a hit in Canada is cute but in the grand scheme of things means NOTHING. In the United States, the majority of the people you listed have NO value whatsoever and are completely irrelevant. Christina Perri, Jason DeRulo, Serena Ryder, Simple Plan (who I adore), etc just don't appeal to most consumers.
Hilary needs to focus on rebuilding her fanbase in her home market first and foremost. I am the biggest fan of Universal Music Group and think she should sign with one of their labels even though all of them have hit and miss track records.

I definitely like Rob and Mariel from that list most. Their clients always have stunning pieces of clothing. Petra Flannery also has a good track record though I think a lot of the style their clients wear is too samey.
