That's the question of the hour.

I'm hoping they'll play it enough for the ball to start rolling, allowing the song to build momentum. Then once it's built enough momentum it'll break out big enough that radio will have to play it.

Kind of a positive feedback mechanism. Radio plays the song, song catches people's attention, people request the song, radio has to play it more etc etc.

They've always played Carly's songs, they just haven't gotten heavy enough rotation for the song to break into the Top 20 on CHR.

I don't know if any of this makes sense? Hopefully it does

I know radio deals can often do songs some damage, (see I Want You to Know as a recent example) but I think Scooter should try and get one for her so they at least get a bit of momentum. If the song isn't received well then they'll just stop playing and she'll regain moderate success as usual. I don't see the harm in trying.

I agree. This way radio will at least be forced to play it for a short time and hopefully catch people's interest in the song.

The song is undeniable. It's an immensely likable song. No one who hears this song is gonna get turned off. She doesn't need a viral video - that clearly backfired with IRLY. She just needs a decent video. Everything is here for the song to smash.

Mr.Link would get turned off regardless. He's a notorious Carly hater.

This Kiss is what killed Carly's radio success. Bad single choice at the time.
