How is that not a decline? I mean yeah she is still moderately successful but things aren't the way they used to be for her. Which is also fine bcoz no one slays all the time.

Katy is obviously still the most successful pop girl, "Birthday" wasn't a chart-topper but it still made a reasonable splash, and "TIHWD" still has time to go. The fact of the matter is Teenage Dream was an extraordinary feat and to compare to it is futile and petty. Prism has done magnificently.

You're not making any sense. If they weren't strong single choices, they wouldn't have been released. I doubt Capitol dun-goofed. They've been through this for a while.

Well of course...No one can sell a song simply because of their name. Beyonce hasn't had a hit single in years, yet she has more star power than many people who can sell singles.

You can have all the star power in the world, but you still need to release good songs that the public likes in order to do well.
