I think it's because Rihanna doesn't want to be labeled as the "Queen of Pop" because I don't think she cares for the title.

My fave's chart positions are not the topic of this thread. Anyways, you're clinging way too much to singles charts. They say nothing about the relevance of an artist but the cultural impact and talent does. Beyonce is selling out shows in minutes worldwide, booking Superbowl and many other huge performances, getting praise by legends and critics, getting an acclaimed, record-breaking documentary, being a face of Pepsi, H&M and Loreal.
