They were "remixes" only in a very loose sense and were not released for purchase anywhere. Ever. The states' radio stations just played the one that corresponded to them in place of the original sometimes.

They were going to be released for purchase on iTunes, but they weren't. Interscope tweeted it. The state versions were only on the radio for a short time. Trying to claim she released 50 remixes and using that to criticize its chart performance is hilarious

Gaga's flop era also solidified her as a top touring act.

Gaga's lame BTW era also received more attention and media coverage than Katy's divorce.
