Does GaGa really symbolize a movement? Or do her fans symbolize a movement?
She's famous for being strange, she's famous for her music, she's famous for supporting the gay community, how many "Voices" we would have if these were the only requisites to be a Voice of a generation?
The voice of a generation must be someone who has seen a lot, been through a lot, and even after all the struggle, managed to stand.
So I actually think that Xtina is a voice of a generation, the voice of our generation.
How many of us grew up on her music?
How many of us grew up on seeing her getting bashed for being "too" irreverent?
How many of us saw her getting her divorce, getting fat, saw her album flop?
And how many of us saw her rise from the ashes time and time again?
I understand that you may not like her, but you have to face the truth
