Hey guys! I haven't been on much at all for the past few days bc it was tech week and now it's performances of a musical I'm in...Urinetown
Guess I didn't miss much though. Nothing ever happens in this fanbase anymore
Just need new music unfortunately to talk about, the base has been like this for a while where we just discuss things freely and when some news pops up it becomes a bit better
I agree with Mike and DayFusion for what it's worth. Adele definitely needs to branch out to other producers and co-writers. Not because I don't trust her, but because you never know what someone new may bring out in her, someone who may push her a bit. We all know and appreciate how good Adele is, but we all also know there's much more greatness within her, and although she needs people in the studio who she trusts, she needs that one person who says, try it this way or do this instead, that's when greatness happens. I would give my right arm to be in the studio with her for a day or two or three. Has to be pure magic lol
I'm sure Adele has reached out to new people as well that we just don't know about. I mean afterall we see that she has made new music with Collins and Warren so there could be another few that has worked on the album.

Yes, but even they fit in to Adele's style a bit. Power Ballads and dark break up songs. Imo

She's not going to be writing about break up songs though so in a way shes most likely sticking with her sound with a twist I don't expect to pull something on us which is completely different (at least overall)

But in some ways I want different. I won't be disappointed with her sound, but we all know she can do "other sounds". Why do you think we haven't heard her rap? Probably because SHE doesn't think it's good enough. There has to be someone out there that can convince her it is. Even that one cover she did that no one has heard (the title is escaping me right now). I'm wondering has she gained any confidence and if she has, it will show through in her music. That's kind of what I'm getting at

Ok sounds good to me But we don't need to hear Adele rap. We can hope for a different sound though, perhaps something more upbeat? Idk xd
