Most artists who sell like Adele did, tend to fall off afterwards because they're desperate to maintain their success and then the quality of their albums tend to decline because of that.

And that's what's nice about Adele. She won't give a **** how much it sells as long as she's proud of the album and feels it lives up to the standards of her previous material.

And if the album's quality is good enough and stacks up to 21, then she could possibly go and have another 21 era in terms of sales. But that'll be by luck and chance.

idk, there isn't anything going on in the industry right now and doesn't look like there will be anything in the near future.

And you know it'll be treated as a huge deal when she returns and she's so loved that she could shock us and have another mini-21.

Celine did it two times in a row and Adele very well could. That's why idiots on here shouldn't be so quick to assume she'll fall off or decline with the new album.

And another thing is the fact that Adele has no competition. She's really the only pure vocalist out right now who's as popular as she is. When Celine was out, there was also Whitney, Mariah, etc.

But cmon, its not like Ryan Tedder is horrible, hes far from that. I like his work with Birdy a lot! And his OneRepublic stuff is great! He does make basic pop songs for some artists, but that is because the artist them selves are stuff within the realm of pop music

Norah's album didn't take off until after the Grammys. 21 (and Adele) was already established by the time her Grammys wins came around.

Plus Norah was never as popular as Adele is. Adele is literally a beloved public figure just for being herself as much as she is for being a musician.
