Are most of these posts in here about Katy's lyrics trolling? Every artist has a few songs with lyrics that someone might think are bad. Roar is dragged all the time in here but it actually has lyrics that are really meaningful to some people (like people with actual life experience and stuff).

Yes, most artists have a bad lyric in at least a few songs, but Katy in particular has a habit of it, to the point where her songs without terrible lyrics are vastly outnumbered by those with terrible lyrics.
And yes, I realize "Roar" is an empowerment anthem, and if that song actually got through to someone or somehow gave someone's life meaning, then great for them. Doesn't change the fact that the song is largely a trite, clichéd, and by-the-numbers affair. It's better than "Firework," but that doesn't say much.
Like: "I went from zero / To my own hero"? Jesus.
