Katy's remix was released as the normal single version though, not like the other remixes.

Yep. Dance in the Dark was accidently released to Irish iTunes I think.

i just noticed that DITD was an official 4th single, only in France and Australia i dont understand why she did not release it in usa as well, then?

Also Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) was a single for only France and Switzerland...
Both those songs would have done well as singles here.

DITD wasn't a single in France or Australia. Some radios just started playing it for some reason...

It was initially going to be released as the 3rd single... but then she fought for Alejandro to be released instead.

I disagree. It released for about 10 minutes. 12 people purchased it. 11 being irrelevant and 1 being my friend, who gave it to me and I leaked.

That means you didn't leak it if it was already on iTunes. And it was released long enough to chart on iTunes, it got to about #25. It was there for longer than 10 minutes.

Honestly it was a bad decision. If she had not fought, the mess that is the Alejandro video would not have happened .

I loved Dance In The Dark....I was so upset that it was never released as a single or had a video made for it.
