#100 Disease - Matchbox 20
Catchy lyrics with catchy guitar riffs; this song tackles something more realistic than the
catchiness on the rhymes of every lyrics. The title,
Disease, is a metaphor for the attraction of one person towards a very specific temptation which could only break and rip you apart, regardless. The song further struggles of overcoming that one addiction, thus succeeding to "
Im free of my disease..." line. It's an out of control interpretation of philosophical imbalance of love and hate.
#99 Confessions Pt. II - Usher
So,
Usher confesses about his sexual escapades and the consequences that eventually followed BUT we never got an intimate glimpse of what men really thinks of all this "one night stand" mishaps until
Mr. Raymond imparted his "manly" thoughts on the subject. If you don't want to undergo the same emotional problems as with Usher, then use condom!
#98 Be With You - Enrique Iglesias
Enrique, along with the sexy guitars, sings about a common repentance in either party of an estranged ex-relationship. The longing, the desperation of wanting him/her back and the inability to move on: you never know what you got until it's gone, right?
#97 Something Deep Inside (Radio Edit) - Billie Piper
The lyrical content and the overall meaning of this song is definitely ambiguous but I can only think that
Billie Piper is probably talking about the notion of sexual divine pleasure basically grounded on true love.
#96 When We Die - Bowling For Soup
Another [I ]estranged relationship[/I]-related song, this time for
Bowling For Soup. A great lyrical pledge of making up all of your mistakes and starting anew before it's too late. the song is basically all about second chances and forgiving.
#95 Face Down - Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
IMO, one of the best women empowerment themed songs and what's ironic and most effective formula of it is that it's coming from the opposite fence of the story. The symbolic underlying meaning of the whole song refers to the abusive male figures of romantic partnerships and the wide perception of beating as an ultimate testament of masculinity. One thing not to be missed too is the skewed/romantic everlasting attachment of the girl to his abusive partner, it's real life case.
#94 Over - Lindsay Lohan
Nah, just the same old teeny bop lyrics who doesn't want to end her affair with the hottest quarterback of the team
![dies](images/smilies/images/smilies/dies.gif)
BUT
Lilo delivers in this piece and just blew her other Disney opponents out of the vocal realm.

We miss you, Lindsay!
#93 More To Life - Stacie Orrico
Slumping all the superficial concerns of the wayward youth generation of today with an uncertain but hopeful answer,
More To Life displays an array of unselfish contemplations. Still pop in it's truest forms though, nothing new.
#92 Faithfully - Journey
![:-!](images/smilies/images/smilies/aol_foot-in-mouth.gif)
They had a new vocalist and I just love the new version. That's all.
#91 Fall To Pieces - Avril Lavigne
OMG!
Ms. Ramona's best offering ever. It's not stupid and it's not trying hard. The emotions are palpable and authentic. The best part is how
Avril argued with
"coz I'm in love with you" and you know it's true that sometimes, less is more. Talk is cheap. Discussions are unnecessary. Love is all that matters.
Thoughts?
