This whole situation is just terrible

Praying for all those caught up in it and their families. I saw some shots of the hostages on television and they looked absolutely terrified. I cannot imagine how it must feel. It's so unfair that they're in this situation and I just pray that it can all be resolved peacefully

Because the media doesn't want anyone sharing it. It compromises operational tactics. She's real. She has a professional job in the CBD and news journalists asked the Police Commissioner about "facebook statuses of hostages" half an hour ago and she refused to comment on it.

Her family members are sharing it, understandably. But anyone sharing it passed the family members is a complete moron. Social media and the media's reporting of what's on social media could compromise the operation.

People are forgetting that this guy is probably watching the news in the cafe, and he would have a smartphone too.
