I do not believe in racial equality, I am white.
If you are a
guy you are already a member of a
gender, and if you are a
white person, you're already a member of a
race. There's not much difference in what you've outlined, and each example shows someone saying they cannot sympathize and want equality, because they are not a member of the disadvantaged group.
Lastly, "
-ist" often has the definition you outlined but in the word feminist, it is not used like that, it is used to mean someone who believes in something or a way of thinking, such as: Marx
ist, Capital
ist, Rational
ist etc.
