Let's be clear here: ATRL doesn't care about P!nk. Some of it admits she's great but she will be never in the center of the attention because the music taste of ATRL (or I could say gays). She's not in the media 24/7, doesn't have scandals and whatsoever, doesn't "serve" and she's not a diva. But the truth is undeniable, the GP loves her and she has a wide-scale of fans, straight to gay, young to old. She can do what others only dream about: leave for 1-2 years and come back slaying again.
1) She was asked to be part of the lineup for VMA 2003 kiss
2) She was asked by Simon Cowell to be an X Factor judge - The Voice also. She turned it down because she "didn't need a comeback"
3) She was asked to do Las Vegas residency back in 2012 - even before Britney.
Imagine if she had done all that. Haters will deal.
Britney was asked to do the residency before In the Zone. They've been trying to get her for well over a decade.

I really loved Pink but once I found out about all her shady comments and her bitter attitude I stopped stanning for her, I just don't like people who feel above others even if they're more talented. Also her music isn't dynamic enough, she makes the same kind of music all the time. Legends evolve and take risks and musically she doesn't at all. She's been successful all this time because she never changes and good for her that it worked, so far I see the same thing happening with Bruno Mars.
She's been a LOT better since childbirth. I used to really dislike her, but she seems like a much more mature woman now. The problem with her music is she hopped on Kelly Clarkson's sound that Kelly herself was consistently using so it's all just painfully dated.
On a side note, I see Bruno Mars as the next Alicia Keys.

And your trend hopping faves aren't risk takers lol Just because they sing whatever's popular does not mean it's a positive thing. P!nk has a signature, almost instantly recognizable sound and she comes and slays regardless of what the current trend is.
Two years ago, ATRL was convinced Britney and Gaga were going to be legends and look at them, complete jokes. LOL
P!nk was not the first anti-popstar. The generation right before her was full of grunge/rock artists. Pop stars had only recently come back in the late 90s. P!nk wasn't even remotely close to being the first anti-popstar of her generation
P!nk's sound has completely changed. Her music used to have an R&B tinge (granted my fave did that well before yours) and take on serious material. Now her music is Max Martin-produced (granted my fave did that well before yours) and takes heavily from Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway sound with cheeky rock lyrics (i.e. "(Blow Me) One Last Kiss)." Please stop trying to shade my trend-hopping fave when your fave hopped on the same trends well after mine
As for Britney and Gaga not being legends, I'll give you that Gaga is not a legend, but to say Britney isn't...
I think people give Pink so much slack because she isn't so damn girly and feminine and most def not someone a gay guy would like to look up to. I swear that's what makes me fall in love with her even more. She's so flawless in whatever she does and one of tha best concerts i've been to in my life. Top 3 for 3. Such a damn performer
Yes she will. But she'll be a legend more in an Annie Lennox way than a Madonna way. She'll be respected for her talents and her contribution to music but without a large cultural resonance.

Ummm P!nk didn't hop on Kelly's sound, it's the other way round. M!ssundaztood came out in 2001. Since U Been Gone was written for P!nk but she rejected it and hence it went to Kelly. You've got it all wrong!

Max Martin didn't produce anything on M!ssudasztood. P!nk went running to him AFTER Breakaway

Max Martin wrote a song for P!nk before Breakaway, which is a poppier M!ssundaztood spin off anyway.
Kelly did immediately change her sound AFTER M!ssundaztood though. Many others made their own "deep & derk" album too. Truly one of the defining albums of the last decade.

How could Kelly change her sound based on Misundasztood, when she debuted after it was released? Maybe she rejected the track b/c she didn't think it would be successful,, then when the sound blew up, she hopped on the bandwagon.

But it doesn't matter who exactly the production is done by. The final output is still something that is a precursor to the Breakaway sound. The fact that she worked with Max Martin after matters little.

Because Breakaway = M!ssundaztood 2.0 only not as good.
No. She was successful without Max Martin, Stupid Girls debuted at #1 on UWC.

P!nk also has not helped push music forward in anyway, and her artistry as musician is severely lacking compared to most legends. But get those hits I guess..
