I just don't get it. Why does everything have to have some otherworldly response about art and life and gays and God? She could take a piss on a sidewalk and would say it's a performance art piece about her emptying her demons from her bladder, a way for her to cleanse herself while writing a new gay anthem for the gays and God loves all and everyone is beautiful, like her urine. I just don't understand it.

She is a pop star. She sings pop songs. I don't understand why her fans act like she's some incredible artist when she 1) can't dance well 2) writes mediocre lyrics and 3) relies strictly on gimmick in order to receive publicity.

Maybe after this era, she'll be knocked down a peg or two and she'll get an enjoyable personality.

You basically answered yourself before you even asked the question. The fact is, she goes and does something with purpose to doing it and a meaning behind it. Just because it's not the first thing you think of does not mean it's not there. I'm not even going to go on about the shade in your second paragraph or the part in the third where you think she needs to get "an enjoyable personality". Like what does that even mean? Writing meaningless club anthems about sex and men and partying and making no effort whatsoever to be different?
