OMG! That's amazing!

It seems like it's for Shakira. She IS the only one who could make flamenco guitar tracks, and piano ballad = she did it with Lo Que Mas as well.. and dubstep could be her new thing along with other dance genres for the album. And all in english = ICONIC.

Omg nooo, she has to stay away from music that is too Latin. If she truly wants to go to the top. Or maybe a type of sound like her in her sandal commercial. That was VERY flamenco. But then with electro beats instead, with the flamenco vocals and claps in. Rihanna did the same with her genres for We Found Love. Not like flamenco but mashing her own genres with electronic dance.

That's what I don't want her to do. That flavor adds so much to her music, and I don't want a She Wolf case where she abandoned that feeling entirely again.

Shakira is a Latin artist. Even with a new management, new producers she's working with, and new musical direction. Nothing is going to change that. Spanish music is extremely limited in today's society, especially among Latin women. She has to continue being the voice of South America. She's the most influential Latina singer in the industry. Not everything has to be about success or being on top, it's about having musical integrity. I've noticed some of the Shakira fans, as of late, have been too focused on her having commercial success, but it wouldn't be ATRL if it wasn't.
