What? That is not at all what I have been saying.
My point is that hate speech should be adopted as a legal offense in the United States of America, just like it is in the majority of the European Union, where it actually works.

Maybe this generation won't change, but we just have to work on helping the next one. And you don't have to approve of someone, just tolerate or accept them and keep your opinions to yourself.
However, I am a firm believer in the First Amendment. I know we don't always agree with the things it protects, but it's an important concept that we must support! Many people are trying to take certain freedoms protected by the First Amendment away.

There are singular (thankfully rare) cases here in which people, often students, get bullied, stalked and discredited for being Jewish, gay, Turkish or disabled either by people who call themselves Neo-Nazis or members of a party called 'NPD'.
Please tell me how they have earned their right to express their "opinions" and should be left alone.
