Because sis it's a legitimate question. I am not blaming Gaga for the rating decline but it's obvious that they have fallen week to week. I actually think Gaga is doing a good job on the show. I personally wonder why people are tuning out this year because they obviously are. The truth sometimes is not always pleasant.

Jessica IS American Horror Story. It just doesn't feel the same without her. And i agree about all the sex. It's way too much and in your face. Is a given that any horror genre film or show is bound to have sex, horror and sex go hand in hand and any true horror fan knows this.
But the sex should never overtake the horror aspect. Which is what's happening with this season.
We've had SOOO many sex scenes already that i've lost count. We've basically seen The Countess **** her way through the 1920's all the way till today. Adding a few GALLONS of blood in the sex scenes does NOT make it more scary or horrifying. It's just messy.

Then, you have the RIDICULOUS drilldo demon It's all just too much.

Sex has always been a big part of this show, but it was always done in a disturbing way, that kind of made sense, in relation to the story or the season. In Hotel, it's like Ryan thinks he's being edgy or something, having all these sex scenes.

This season is the one of the worst so far (behind Freak Show, of course). And people are missing Jessica. The show will still snatch some Emmy noms tho!

Anyway I think it's a combination of Gaga, Freak Show and Jessica.

because it's terrible this season. the characters are unlikable, the plots are disconnected, and everything is somehow wildly predictable and completely unexplained at the same time. This always happens with Ryan Murphy shows though. Whenever he starts a new one, the others go to ****

Part of the reason that Freak Show had such great initial ratings is because Coven gained so much popularity and pop culture traction (which is partially why I think Ryan Murphy made Scream Queens....people loved the humor/campy aspect of it, so he went full out with another show). But Freak Show turned out to be an awful season, which might have turned people away from the show.

FX doesn't care about these numbers, they care about the Live +3 numbers, which are still going strong. It appears that a lot of people prefer to watch AHS after it airs as opposed to when it's airing.

But tbh, I'm a stan and I'm not even keeping up with the show. It got boring for me. But whatever, FX ordered another season so it's bringing in the money/ad dollars and still successful enough to move forward. Plus Gaga is getting nominated for awards for her role so she wins, as always.
