Am i the only one who thinks Peacock is awfully written, uncatchy and just plain bad?
Last Friday Night would probably be a better choice imo
(granted, i've only heard LFN, Peacock, California Gurls, Teenage Dream and Firework. So i could be overlooking a great potential hit)

"If U Seek Amy" is one of the most controversial songs ever. I mean, who else could sing "**** me?" "Peacock" isn't nowhere near that controversial and the message isn't that obvious.

Girl no. RUDE BOY was ignited and filled with creativity. Peacock reeks rehashed Mickey/rock-faded pop bubble which GWEN already did in 2005. This single is average.
