Just what I said. How many they/them's do we know that are actually doing productive things? That are in a club, have careers or play sports etc? The ones I see are the bored, American, white and often overweight kids who don't do much but sit on Tumblr. And my kids will certainly not be like that.

This isn't the idea. I think it's more that if you promote a productive lifestyle from the beginning, if they are associating with other productive people, if they have something in their lives, they won't go down that road to begin with.

i can't at people saying they'd try to force he/him or she/her pronouns onto their child for the sake of their "mental health"... do you know what constantly happens to gay children whose parents try and force them to be straight? they end up hating their parents, depressed and insecure! like, even if it's just a phase, just indulge your child and accept that it's what they want at that time. they're figuring out their sexuality and gender identity, it's your JOB as a parent to encourage them, not damage them.

I'm not homophobic. I personally invited a gay person to my birthday celebration a few years back. I had a very friendly relationship with my gay vice-principal. I love gays. I'm just also a societal critic who speaks the hard truth.
