If Roc Nation couldn't get her to promote her own stuff or promote her fellow label mate song, then she's definetly not doing anything extraordinary for this song. At most, we'll get an Oscar nomination and that's IF it's nominated

The movie studio could pay for a table at the Diamond Ball, invite some voters and make her perform the song for that charity money. I could see her doing something of the sort at the most.

I am trying to think of places Star Trek could force her to perform even Dreamworks couldn't get her on a late-night show. SNL won't be back until September. All the morning show concerts have been announced. VMAs are the next big award show and that's a bit late for movie promotion. Private events would work well for campaigning but not for making money.

TTS was more managed thru Roc Nation since Rihanna had much more control on that album as a whole, and since it was released thru her label.

I think Sledgehammer is more controlled via Star Trek team.

However, don't expect Rihanna to do any type of big promotion. Just hope it plays during previews at the movies, in every commercial ad, and during the movie.
