This CL girl actually seems interesting. We need some Eastern Asian entertainment to shake up the mainstream. Enough with all of these basic, White singer-songwriters already.
And yeah, the movie industry is another one too. How many ****ing times do we have to watch the Oscar's only to see the overdone "I have a mental disorder/I was in a bad accident, so I have to figure my life out" archetype sweep the awards? And why do they seem so afraid to nominate anything that's actually fun and enjoyable as of late? Like if you don't leave the theater with a revolver aimed at your forehead by the end of it, it's "TOO EDGY!!!111!!!!" for the show.
