Needed Million.
Too bad Panda and One Dance are so huge and it will never reach #1, but this is still impressive.

Yeah I don't think it can ever pass One Dance, but passing Panda might be possible.

The Month In Spotify Charts: May 2016
2016 Monthly Recaps
February
March
April
Note that ALL dates discussed are the dates of the UPDATES, not the dates of the data collection for those updates. Remember, a Sunday chart has Spotify data from that Saturday, a Monday update has data from Sunday, etc.
Overview
After explosive growth in the month of April, Spotify unsurprisingly continued to grow quickly in May, spurred by the release of Drake's Views, which helped the service establish a plethora of new records. Notable among them is One Dance's new highest daily play count mark (2.77 million), which sent Adele's Hello (2.76 million in October 2015) to second place on that leaderboard. This is the Canadian rapper's second time holding this record; he previously held it with Hotline Bling (1.51 million, also in October 2015). May 14th was the first day that the top 200 recorded over 60 million plays, and it occurred four more times before the month concluded, with the top 200 accumulating 63.7 million plays on May 21st to set the current record. The top 50 songs all recorded at least 400K plays for the first time on May 18th. On that day, Views track Controlla reached 1 million daily plays in the days following the album's release; this marked the first occurrence of a non-single achieving that total.
The first half of the month was significantly less active than the second half, likely due to the release of Views on May 14th. From May 1 - 13, the top 200 averaged 53.44M plays per day. From May 14 - 31, that average was 58.33M. The latter average is higher than any top 200 play count recorded prior to May. Although the average number of songs garnering more than 200,000 plays for the month (95) was only a slight improvement from April's (93), during the 5/14 - 5/31 period the average was 100. The top 10 became far stronger in May, as there were only 6 days where it did not reach 10M plays, compared to 28 days in April and all 31 days in March. The top 100 is now recording almost the same number of plays per day (avg. of 42.13M in May and 43.70M from 5/14 - 5/31) as the top 200 in February (avg. of 44.37M). Despite this continued rapid growth, though, the listening habits of Spotify users remain drastically different from those of the general music-consuming public. Spotify listeners continue to listen to disproportionately high amounts of urban and especially EDM music, the latter genre's popularity on the platform evidenced by the rise of Flume's Never Be Like You into the top 20 and the continued presence of DJ Snake's Middle in that region. On the flip side, adult pop artists continue to struggle on the service, with new singles from P!nk, Adele, and OneRepublic thus far failing to crack the top 50.

Can somebody explain to me the difference between VEVO and Youtube views? Why is VEVO view always ahead Youtube view? Are they completely different video streaming services? Are views of them the same? If I watch videos neither on Youtube or VEVO, would my view be count for both of the sites?

VEVO = YouTube views + views from vevo.com page.
It means if you watch video on YouTube, it counts on YouTube and Vevo, but if you watch on Vevo.com - it counts for Vevo only.

Panda is so dominant. This is like the 6th straight week where the gap between it and the #2 is bigger than the gap between the #2 and the #500.
