@a: Could you stop being directly hateful every time I say anything? It's weird and tiring.
I was commenting on Water Under the Bridge; I don't think 49k is a "smash" after a televised promo performance.
You don't know me; don't act you do. You're wrong.
Wonderland sold about 81k its first week without promo, and let’s see what I said in the Billboard thread: “Hmm...Kworb estimates 88k debut. 84k for Welcome to New York got #48. Seems possible.” Oh, that’s nonstop bragging about smashing for sure.
What is the purpose of bringing up those songs though? nobody truly cares how 1989's songs did in comparison to 25's. 25 is doubling/possibly tripling Taylors first week in albums.

He's always comparing anything to his favorite, so weird and tiring.
People would rather buy Adele's full album instead of just a song.

Digital sales have plummeted. Besides, 3 million people are going to own the whole album by the end of the week. Getting top 10 (possibly) with an album cut is also smashing. It's not like she performed it at the Grammys or whatever.

Technically, WUTB would have sold more than 3,049,000 copies by next week. Using the same logic they used to spread when his favorite released her two latest singles.
ignoring whatever that is, ex's and oh's just went up by a huge amount. i don't know what kind of promo it was, but .1 in a single update is a big increase.
Will these sales be enough for Exs and Ohs to re-enter the Hot 100 top 10 next week?
Don't thin so, but perhaps.
Without the boost it would be pretty far behind Here / SOL / LIGLY / 679 and it will get closer now, but don't think 2 days of bigger sales will be enough to close the gap.

Is the boost going to be enough to reignite the song for good? Or is just a one-week effect that'll wear off quickly?
