Everyone STOP! This is not promoting rape!!! You Gaga haters will find anything to rag on her about. She is being a puppet guys, she is being manipulated by the press and media. It is obviously in a trashy and risqué way, and I think Gaga realized that she is better than resorting to this kind of trash video to get her song to number 1. That's why she didn't release it.

I don't believe that though. She had MONTHS in between Applause and DWUW to plan and shoot it. This looks a lot more finished than The Edge Of Glory, but she released that no problem, so again that makes no sense...

She released TEOG no problem because there was already a release date planned and a first failed attempt at a video, PLUS the song had already gone top three unlike DWUW which failed to break the top 10.
She said it and I'd be willing to bet she knows better how long she had to prepare the video.
