I remember the lashings coming from everyone because of the tour outfits.
I don't really see the issue with this tour's outfits sans the Alejandro/Aura outfit, which is just strange. The biggest problem for me is not the outfits, rather how they don't flatter her body.
All of her tours have had poor outfits and great outfits, but this is ARTPOP so we have to focus on only the bad.
Petition to bring back quality, such as the red curtain and avant garde head piece!

I'm sorry, but this era is a mess and I can't wait for this tour to be over. I AM DONE WITH HER BEING DELUSIONAL AND LOVING HER FANS SO MUCH! IT'S ANNOYING
The ART in ARTPOP was the way she collaborated with artists and the POP was the music. It made sense.
I really do wish we'd stop retracting our opinions though as a collective base. Because I also remember the mess that occurred when people saw her BTWB outfits. Artrave outfits aren't some spectacle but they're a lot less restricting and easier to visually enjoy than the BTWB outfits.

Just wait for the next era when everyone will be saying "ARTPOP was so good, the tour outfits were so amazing, the Applause video is one of her best."
Stop reporting me I'm not like Nicole! Sure I do not like Gaga anymore, but that doesn't mean I have left her ass. I've got too many great memories thanks to her! STOP REPORTING ME

Yeah well Art Pop is also a genre so Gaga should've studied her new direction better imo. That's the worst part though. Out of all the pop girls, she knows wtf she's doing yet she still did it She named her album a genre she has never even touched in her entire musical career. I just hate it. She has always been pretentious (in a cool witty way), but this era has made her really delusional.
I genuinely want her to comeback with good stuff and acclaim though.

Her genre wasn't art pop, though? Her genre was still dance while her album was titled ARTPOP.

And that's why the acclaim/success got away! Do you see my point now? She got way too confident. If she ever makes a comeback, this era will be ignored by the fans, press AND herself. Mark my words.
Whoa, I never once said said I didn't like the BTWB outfits. I didn't even come here when the BTWB was going on. Everyone has a right to an opinion, and I always thought the outfits then were right in line with the over-the-top feel and theatrics of the entire show. I mean, she had a ****ing castle on stage for god sakes, and the show itself, along with the album, is filled with huge productions, and I thought her outfits matched that perfectly.
Maybe the same can be said for artRAVE, that the outfits match the show, but it just feels a lot cheaper to me and not fully thought out. But, again, I guess that's how it's supposed to feel. it is a rave, after all.

Meh, she ignores the BTW era now, though. In her future tours, I'm sure the only song she'll keep is Applause, but that's obvious and expected. Gaga isn't one to remain stuck in the past. She's always going to be all about her current era and totally in tune with that for the mean time. I don't think we're ever going to see her do a tour 20 years from when she's only singing 2-3 songs from her new album and the rest old hits. If that makes sense.
Don't report me. I mean no harm. I'm just sick of current Gaga OK? Like do you even know who I am? I've been following her since early '08! Not trying to stir **** up. Only expressing my opinion like a true and honest ex-fan. I know more about her than all of you guys combined. Trust me on this one. ARTPOP is really bad musically. New fans wouldn't understand.
Good ****ing night
You're entitled to your opinion of course, but I've also been a stan of hers since 2008, and I've loved every album of hers so far, including ARTPOP.
Another high part of the ARTPOP era was her vocals. I mean watch this Just Dance performance. Granted it's not the whole song, but in terms of vocals, it's arguably her best performance of the song in years.

As for the tour outfits - I never understood why so many people were ratting on the Born This Way Ball outfits. They all fit the tour very well in my opinion. The same can be said for the outfits for this tour. And I can personally testify that they look better in person.
I agree as well. Although the wings she used in the other outfit looked really cheap in up close videos, they don't look that bad in person or far away.

wait you're righ, i never noticed how much she slayed that performance vocally

That whole night was great vocally. I think this is the best she's sang Aura as well.
Also, another thing I loved about that Just Dance performance is that the backing vocals were at a good volume. They added to the performance without being overbearing.

I meant that if she ever makes a comeback and like, for example, a documentary about her career comes out after that, the ARTPOP era will be regarded as her downfall and lowest point in her career. That's what I meant with everyone including her ignoring it.
The ARTPOP era is forever going to be seen as dirty laundry ESPECIALLY compared to her other and hopefully future era's. I believe that every artist has to go through era's like these so I genuinely hope she bounces back and has learned a lot from all of her mistakes this time.

If that's the case, how awesome is it that during her "downfall" and "lowest point in her career" she still managed to score a hit iconic single, sell 2M+ albums WW and gross a 100M+ tour?
