This is exactly the crux of the situation. Sometimes I feel like we're like a bunch of angry pageant/stage parents this era, lol. You put it much more eloquently than I could. We just want her to be the best because we know she's capable of it.

You want the world to see why you love this person. I've honestly lost track of why I love Gaga so much. I used to be able to list reasons (she can sing, she writes her own music, she actually cares, etc.), but at this point, while those things are still true, I've lost any specific reason to love her. I just do, and for me, that's all that matters. She's one of the most important people in my life, so to see her suffer and get dragged by others really does hurt. Even if she says she doesn't care, I know deep down, it does hurt to an extent to get mocked and dragged by so many people that you don't even know, some of which aren't even real people. (Angela Chang, anyone?)
So, am I a bit critical about logistical things sometimes? Yes, I'll admit that. And I'm sorry for anyone who may see me as an ex-fan in the making because of this. But no, I'm not leaving anytime soon, and I only do it because I want Gaga to succeed, just I like I want to see anyone else I love do good in life. In the end though, I still love her and her music, so I guess it really is about music, not the bling.
Why I just wrote all that, I will never know. I guess these emotions from this post-artRAVE depression are really doing a number on me. I mean, I was even talking about 15 singles from ARTPOP the other night.

I thought that about other day. I was really working hard for something and some person said negative thing about it. And I realized that it is so hard to be avoid things like this because it is like your weak spot. And for me it was just one person. I can't imagine her feelings with all of these generic people mocking with her work ,just trying to be cool. With all of the media and people saying ''flop'' to her creative work , I understand her meltdowns with all of the 'online kindness' thing.
Oh and in deep down there is a greater action than just 'bopping' to her songs. Feeling the songs with all of the meanings, rush and excitement !
I am really happy that your artRAVE went good. I hope mine does too ! I dream everyday about it and can't wait for it.
My date is Istanbul btw and I hope she brings new things to here

We
I don't need her to do anything nor do I have an illusion that anything I'd say would matter.
She's the popstar, I am the audience/fan it's simple as that.

I agree with you, but here's the problem: our definition of "Gaga's best" and Gaga's definition of "Gaga's best" are two completely different things. To Gaga, doing her best means putting her heart and soul into everything she does. To us, doing her best means having perfect hair, perfect makeup, perfect outfits, putting out a perfect video that racks up 100,000,000 views, and going #1 over and over again. If what she does under-performs, Gaga and her entire existence gets reduced to "flop" even if she truly did her best. I don't for a minute believe Gaga ever gives anything less than 100% when she does what she does, but sometimes it falls short because it doesn't live up to our expectations. It's difficult simply because I don't think Gaga wants what her fans want.
I know it's hard, but sometimes you have to step back and stop expecting so much from these women, since they are only human.

You bring up excellent points. In the end though, as much as I do want to see her do as well commercially as she did in the past, I'd much rather know she's doing well emotionally, which I think she is at the moment.

It's really sad the level of decline in her outfits from TBTWB to the ARTPOP Ball. Like, some of these outfits she's wearing this tour look so cheap

Can it be Grammys 2015 already? I miss Gaga performing at award shows. Skipping Grammys, BRITs, BBMAs, VMAs and most likely EMAs this year.

How did Gaga manage to skip every major awards show with a brand new album out?

I think she realized that her ARTPOP which could've been an award and acclaimed thing meant garbage in the end. You don't name your album ARTPOP when you create generic electronic dance-pop stuff. I'm sorry, but this era is a mess and I can't wait for this tour to be over. I AM DONE WITH HER BEING DELUSIONAL AND LOVING HER FANS SO MUCH! IT'S ANNOYING

This doesn't really make much sense though. Sure ARTPOP isn't a great title, but I think she was headed for a critical panning anyway. Not to mention she was going right up against Katy Perry for most of the promotional life of the album anyway. Her being "delusional and loving her fans so much" doesn't make any sense at all, and I'm not going to try to argue that with you. Get it together, or get out.

I understand the ARTPOP hate.
I still love ARTPOP.
Slay me, Gaga!

the title ARTPOP was a bad idea, i agree. but the album is great imo
she can end the era after Gypsy though
Free My Mind would be a good title instead of ARTPOP

Don't report me. I mean no harm. I'm just sick of current Gaga OK? Like do you even know who I am? I've been following her since early '08! Not trying to stir **** up. Only expressing my opinion like a true and honest ex-fan. I know more about her than all of you guys combined. Trust me on this one. ARTPOP is really bad musically. New fans wouldn't understand.
Good ****ing night
