That's very cool and interesting but all u and Ozzy said comes back to Britney's OWN decision to put zero effort in promoting it. People pulled out. The original direction was lost. Will was left with nothing but "garbage" to work with, if you will.
Will does not deserve the hate he gets from you closeted angry, chart loving twinks. Do you have any idea how much pressure he must've been on, especially from the army?

What does lack of promotion have to do with musical direction? The only reasoning behind that would be that since Britney didn't promote, her team felt that her music needed to sell itself, so they went for the more generic/mainstream sound. But even then, when they went as generic as they could go (FF) the end result was much more satisfying with someone like Luke & his group of producers than will.i.am. In the end, he should of just brought in better people. He's been in the industry for many years and should have a better grasp of what a good pop album should be like, especially the mastermind behind some of the biggest and most memorable hits of the last decade vs. someone like Dr. Luke who only came to prominence in 2007.
And let's be frank - NONE of the other people he's worked with had any input either. Fergie didn't write one word for any of her hits from The Dutchess and the other 2 people in the BEP and Fergie herself are all for decoration. When it comes to making the music, will.i.am is the one that's hands-on. So WHY would Britney get the short end of the stick? Probably because money talks and he wasn't getting paid enough. However, a paycheck didn't stop William Orbit from giving his all, same for Danja and B&A. ****, even money-hungry Dr. Luke pitched in with Brightest Morning Star (out of sympathy more than anything, I bet) and yet he ended up making one of the best songs on the album.
