I love how y'all care about promo. X-Tina herself doesn't give a **** how the album does, she knows she made a good album for her artistic freedom and for us. And as far I know most of her fans like the album including me.

I must respectfully disagree.

Let's keep it real, the label care about promo and sales because they funded the album and want to make a profit. It's actually annoying when artists/fans say sales don't matter because they do. The performance of this project has a DIRECT implication to the handling, budget, and perception of the next. So sales do matter!

Absolutely. She is a major recording artist, not some indie act. Sales are hugely important to maintaining her career at this level. No promo means flop albums, cancelled tours, lower sales of her perfumes etc etc.

I love when samples are used subtly, giving the original song a whole new interpretation. Lotus Intro is the perfect example.
