Oh really? Go find the threads made last August when Aura leaked, and the articles by critics from then as well. The praise poured in from every fanbase, and even from some of the GP that otherwise hated her. Do What U Want had a similar response. I just think she should've made the album a bit more cohesive and experimental like she had promised.
At the end of the day, ARTPOP was for sure better before she was left to over produce in during her hip recovery. I'm not complaining though, of course, that was completely out of her control. Next time, I think she'll learn her lesson with the over producing issue.

C2C could actually be the saving grace of her career, allowing her to see the public a Lady Gaga-less era and allow her to come back with a somewhat clean slate

I 100% agree with this

Exactly 2 months until my date, I am ready
The fact she build in a jazz reputation during her previous era was quite savvy tbh, she knows she'll connect to an audience that focuses on the music, not the image, so if she tones it down and keeps it toned down after that it'll look like a natural transition from era to era and not like she suddenly abandoned her style to please the crowd

Hello little ravers,
I was on a media blackout for 2 weeks but here I am again, my own summer awakening.
Venus is still one of her best songs ever, don't @ me.

It's perfect in summer, I always listen to it walking to the beach. Aura, Sexxx Dreams and Applause too.

Applause, Venus, Swine, Sexxx Dreams, GUY, DWUW, and Aura chorus are honestly everything I wanted from Gaga and I received it. Gypsy and Dope are great but I feel like everything we got from Gaga was pretty much expected from her. I think the problem is that we expected more. I wonder how the other pop stars would fare with an album like ARTPOP titled something differently like "Aura" or something completely different.

I loved the idea of a dual disc! Less is more with her, but a dual disc with zero filler would have been so much

That would have slayed, Act 1 and 2 released at the same time, two 10 track albums

Oh my god yes Disc One: ART with Aura, Swine, Mary Jane Holland, Brooklyn Nights and more experimental ****, then Disc Two: POP with Applause, Do What U Want, Venus, G.U.Y, PARTYNAUSEOUS with ARTPOP as the final track.
Let me stop before I dream too much.

The music before artRAVE beings > ARTPOP, and it feels more rave like. I'm still waiting for TFM's rave little sister.

She indeed should have called the album something like Venus, Goddess of Love or whatever. Because IF there was a main theme to this album it was "love" and the effects it had.
That's why I think she failed at the concept of Artpop imo. Musically it was not ARTpop, neither visiually really.
I guess we just expected more from the concept?
LOLing at other artists singing Gaga songs haha. Donatella by Donatella, wait a second...

Donatella would suit Sia since you can hardly hear what she says
