For the record, I don't really like when she makes "throwbacks", but it bothers me how she values some eras more than others. I'll admit that a TBDT one makes me more disappointed than any other one, because it's my least favourite era, for many reasons that you probably know by now. If she appreciated all eras the same way, it wouldn't bother me that much or even at all. But she clearly appreciates more the eras where she was more successful and relevant, especially TBDT which was her last one. I want her to make that step forward and finally show a grown-up and mature image, and seeing her portraying her most immature image (IMO) in what might be an opportunity to get serious; it bothers me and makes me unconfident about future music endeavours. Maybe I overreacted a bit and I should've worded it better, but I stick with my disapproval towards that certain detail. And again, I hope the video gets lots of money for the good cause. Let's move on...

I'd say she appreciates LG and TBDT the most and Under My Mixtape the least, but that's understandable because nobody does. In any case, I don't think she put as much thought into it as you did. Save your worries for the next single.

Under My Skin is the most appreciated album by fans, and before you say "critics say otherwise", I know and I don't give a **** On the other hand, The Best Damn **** (or The Worst Damn Thing) is the opposite, it's generally the least appreciated by fans and most by critics. No wonder she doesn't even know what to release sometimes, if "upbeat" stuff or "serious" stuff. She probably appreciates those albums more because they were the most successful ones, general public was kissing her ass and she was selling out bigger venues than during other albums/eras. I wish she showed love to all the eras in a similar way, but I can't blame her for appreciating the "good times" more than "bad times", I could've done the same if I was in her place.
Yeah, I'm sure this disappointment will fade in a few days, but I won't "disappear" easily, and when next single/album gets closer, I'll take it into account for sure.

this song is plain terrible. the lyrics are absolutely disastrous, the production on her vocals is just
it sounds pretty (albeit cheesy), but the fact that a grown woman released a song with lyrics as ridiculous as this is grotesque. it's like firework or born this way, 70x worse.
she needs consistency and cohesiveness.

On My Nerves hasn't had any influence past 2005, pls don't be biased. The Best Damn Thing is loved by all, would the album its title ever lie?

This is most certainly not worse than Firework. At least Avril can form basic rhymes over resorting to guttural noises.

It's under 'Cool New Music' on AllAccess with a kinda different cover art (bigger Special Olympics logo and some text added on the left side).
