You need to understand that it's not ignoring her. They just nominate the biggest and recent hits, that's all.

I kinda disagree but agree with you at the same time, its definitely about who and what is big at the time for sure but Applause was a decent hit and all of you claim for Gaga to be a big star then the question is why wasn't she nominated?

Applause was a decent hit. Almost 3x platinum in the US, 4M WW. It's decent. The single, however, would be one year old by the time of the ceremony.
Even Roar which sold basically twice what Applause sold couldn't make it

Basically. She was slaying everyone, it was obvious she would win big. If ARTPOP slayed, she would have gotten one or two nominations. It flopped, nothing. That's all.

Why are you still in Gaga base, it seems like all you do is b*ch about this era. G.U.Y. was actually a great video and it's a jam. Just because the GP didn't like it, doesn't mean it's not good. Have you heard the crap they play on the radio lately?

He claims to be over and done with her plus had a bad time at artRAVE yet he's still here

I'm not really surprised G.U.Y. didn't get a nomination. It would have been cool for it to be nominated for art direction or something (the exposure from the nomination alone maybe could have brought in a few more iTunes coins) but I'm content with Bey getting all those noms.

Gaga couldn't attend the show though, so I guess it doesn't really matter either way

Because you don't seem like a fan at all. So I don't get why you're here. Some of us actually liked ARTPOP and we like the G.U.Y video. We get you don't...as I've seen in a few threads now. And it's obvious that the VMA's just go by what's currently popular. GUY was definitely snubbed.
