so Adele isn't allowed to write sad songs, without being called gimmicky just because she had huge success with an album full of sad songs and is now a married woman with a child? That doesn't make any sense. No matter how happy you are at a point of your life, I'm sure she has a lot of things she wants to write about, whether it's about the past or the present. Did you expect her to go from soulful slow songs to a "Happy" kind of song or what?
