I think Prince's Purple Rain can hit 500k, given the enormous lead he's maintained over what was the biggest selling song in the US. He has also given TIDAL more new customers than Rihanna and Kanye did combined. I hope his PR YT video counts toward his total. Even though my favorite Prince song is Let's Go Crazy, seeing PR finally hit #1 after settling for the runner up spot 31.5 years ago would be a wonderful honor in memory of his passing.

If LRC sells 75% of Purple Rain and Purple Rain indeed sells 500k with all its versions combined (which is super likely) then it could actually beat Panda.
|
Purple Rain will likely sell between 300 and 400k and 40M airplay? Wtf? It will have a rolling effect before next week and I dount it will be over 10M going into next Monday.
No idea how realistic 10M streams are. We'll know when we have the numbers for Thursday.
Panda's streams will be around 35M this week and I expect them to grow for next week.

That's absolutely not true.
If it sells 500k yeah of course, but we just don't know that yet.

If they can reach the Top 50. None of his songs are anywhere near 52 weeks, as that didn't happen until 1995.

At this point, I think it is safe to assume that Love Yourself is going to be the Year End #1. It's just a matter of time before it passes Hello and Sorry.
Work will not catch LY. To put into perspective how far behind Work is to LY: Even if Work maintains its current lead over LY every week for the remainder of the charing year (and we know there is no chance of that happening, considering how stable LY is), Work would still fall short to LY.
The bigger question now is which song will finish #2 between Hello, Sorry, and Work.

Adele already broke Britney's streak with 21, which stayed in the Top Ten close to 80 consecutive weeks. I like Britney okay, but Adele already had the record anyway.

Sorry I've been absent from predictions. I've had a very rough month, Brian knows it as I've talked to him about it.
Anyways, it looks like the top 5 might be:

3) Work
4) I Took a Pill in Ibiza
5) Work From Home
6) NO
7) One Dance
8) Love Yourself
9) Pillowtalk

Unless something went viral last week with "Work" on it and I'm missing it, I feel it has 0 chances
