Does she claim or denies her past of liking them??? if so she is fake, but she can still being fan of these artists and do another type of music. I think all of your problems are that she is part of the new wave of artists that were just like us, people who had a tumblr and went viral or famous in the internet and become a star like Shawn but he is a male cute guy so you all don't care and love him or at least he is not hated as Halsey

Nobody would care that she was a fan of One Direction or Ari if she didn't try to sing about such a hard living lifestyle. ATRL is full of such small minded people ugh you'll never understand Halsey is a real inspiration to a lot of tumblr users such as myself, she helped me find an identity in myself and helped me come to my true inner BEING and come out as polysexual, whether you like it or not you need to stop being so discriminatory and I know there are many others like me who she has helped, this woman is a saviour and a saint, to frame her as a fraud is treachery and blasphemous
