The only GOOD thing I'll EVER say about Halsey is I like the song Colors. But even then, she can be dragged for it. It's such a Lana-esque song. "Everything was blue, his pills, his hands, his jeans...." It's like her ghost writer doesn't even try to differentiate from Lana's lyrics.

There are receipts though. There's photos of her from 2013 posing with 1D cut outs and dressing up as Ariana Grande. All on her Twitter too. A simple look back at her account will show you everything. So poor Balsey

Well, before the fame Halsey was completly different as she is now. Then if you take a look to Badlands' concept, lyrics, photoshoot you can see it's totally Lana-ish.
