Well isn't this kind of obvious? i mean Americans didn't want a black president. They certainly don't want a atheist so why would they want a muslim. I think in another 10 years it will be time.
What is this post supposed to mean? The nations under Sharia Law (are there any besides Saudi Arabia, by the way, and where it is actually implemented all the time?) are not democracies. The US is a democracy, and discrimination of people based on race and religion is incompatible with democracy
The requirements to be a president do not include being Christian or not being Muslim, so an American Muslim could be as fit for the job as a Christian, atheist or Buddhist.
I was more referencing your "All Abrahamic religions are the same" theory. But I agree if a Muslim could detach from their spiritual beliefs then sure they could be President. But to assume a Christian's beliefs clash with a democracy the same way Islamic beliefs do... No just no.

Secularism had its root on Christianity. In fact, the form of government prescribed by the New Testament is actually a secular one as opposed to a theocracy in the Old Testament. So Christianity is completely compatible with the US Constitution. A Christian theocracy that many American Christians want to impose is actually against the principles of Christianity.
This is so ignorant the US is going so backwards I need to leave.
What he said wasn't right but at least he got something right. Islam is UNcompatible with western civilization.
But I don't see any problem with any muslim running the US. It is disgusting to say that a muslim shouldn't be president just because of his religion. Many people say they're muslim but they still don't practice Islam , and then there are those who practice Islam partially and who still wouldn't harm a fly. What's wrong with them becoming president?
Most muslims do NOT believe the earth is flat (at least not those who haven't read the Quran), they believe in Big Bang and that the earth is milliards of years old, despite the Quran being a scientific catastrophe
In contrast there are still Christians who belive the earth is 6000 years old, or that Adam , Eve and Noah's arc were real.
He says the presidents religion should be consistent with the constitution, but in the constitution it lays out principle for separation of church and state.
