Think of the kind of things you would see in a typical tabloid. Challenges cover music, celebrity, and ATRL, For example, maybe one challenge is using your journalistic cred to uncover the "actual" discussions between the mods over what the new update will bring (obviously made up and messy to the gods). Maybe a D-lister wants publicity and has agreed to an interview, but there is a certain topic you aren't allowed to ask about.
There is also a lot of peer interaction in it. There are a couple challenges and mini-challenges that will require the use of your competitors to complete. I don't wanna give away the first challenge, but let's just say it will allow you to express yourself.
When in doubt, just join! It's better to be safe than sorry!

Applications have been reviewed as they came in. They will all be posted in the thread tomorrow, and public opinion will give certain journalists a little boost.

Welcome, journalists! The Sleaze has received twelve completed applications for the Editor position. Unfortunately some expressed interest in the job but failed to send in the proper forms. As we say in the business, good riddance to inactives.
Your task is to rank your fellow competitors' applications from best to worst. Look at the quality of the application. We only want quality journalists here at this well-respected institution, so it would make sense to toss the applications that aren't quality, no?
Jax and I have already graded each application, with a clear winner and three clear losers. Out of those three, only one will move on. Your rankings will determine who does so. No pressure.
Your rankings must be sent to me no later than Tuesday, July 22nd, by 7:00 PM EST.
A word to the wise: If your application wasn't your shining moment (the case for a good number of you) it might be in your best interest to guarantee that your competitors rank you favorably. Sleaze is the name of this game, after all~

I want to join because the game looks entertaining and interesting, something lacking in the Games section. I'm also interested in joining because the game looks deeper than just some writing challenges. Of course the main reason is that I want to have fun.

As unlikely as it seems, I can be a professional and serious person when necessary. I deserve to join as I'm very thorough in my work and I can argue for hours if I'm passionate about it. I also have the writing and editing skills specified.
