This is the only major hit for Fort Minor, which is a shame since the album has many great songs on it. "Where'd You Go" was a major hit towards the beginning of the summer and managed to hit #1 on TRL and retire as well. I knew this was going to be a single when I forst heard the song. The song would have been higher earlier in the year, but the song grows tiresome after hearing it over and over.

I first heard this song back in 2005 and after the first listen I just blew it off. Come early 2006, I began to like the song more and more. The song had a really slow start on my countdown, but eventually picked up and managed to retire. The guitars in this song are crazy with nearly a 3 minute solo to finish the song. Even if you hate every other Coheed song, this one I have a feeling you will enjoy.

How can a song that only peaked at #6 on my countdown be this high? Simple, there is no other song like this one. "The New Black" is different in a good way with the guitars and vocals playing off one another. The song was good enough to even be featured on Guitar Hero 2. The video is just as crazy with a 70's vibe to it. I thank Johnny for recommending this song to me.
