As for 4, I believe we shouldn't call it a flop because the album did well when you look at it alone. Of course when you would compare it to IASF it would be an underperformance, but that's mostly due to the singles. It is perfection tho, so idgaf

In what way did Kelly smash on the Hot 100 chart? & how much did her last album sell?

4 was an R&B/soulful album too much for pop. The GP don't want that type of music from Beyoncé. It's very clear. The album still did pretty well with some many things against it.

It's like the best selling r&b album of the year and it dind't have big worldwide promo,no tour,the singles flopped and they got messy releases.It's actually prerry successful,cause it doesn't sound like her previous albums at all.Talk That Talk and Unapologetic did the same with giant hits,so no it did only underperform for her standarts.
