If you have a life Facebook is actually very good and useful.
No, try Alexa.com
The article is claiming that teens are leaving Facebook, and the main reason is because Facebook is socially stale. That has nothing to do with a lack of a social life, it has to do with Facebook.
And the article clearly states that teens, not everyone are mostly on Tumblr than on Facebook.
I coudnt agree more. I practically have to compel myself to log on these days. The only reason Im still hesitant to do away with it for good is because I have some professional photos there

All of this is true. Unfortunately, I do not use anything else i.e. Instagram, Tumblr, etc so social networking is basically done for me. I still check FB on occasion, but it's nothing compared to my usage in College.
Social media is so fascinating. Our lives truly revolve around it. Same thing goes for texting. Like how in the world did we communicate before it? It must've been so hard and time consuming and stressful. Lol
Facebook will become the yellow pages of people search. Once my mom and all my family got to requesting me that's when I knew it wouldn't be the same anymore. What's next?
It's sickening when people post these photo bombs of them getting wasted at a party, or checking in at this airport or eating this exotic food as if to say HEY I DO THIS I'M SO COOL BET YALL HAVEN'T DUNNIT BEFORE SO BASICALLY I'M COOLER THAN YOU ALL, like bitch. It's one thing to post maybe a couple of pics but it's another when you post 5962856348 photos of your selfies or you partying at this five star hotel. I basically hate at how Facebook has become more of a Keeping Up With The Joneses bragging platform.
I left FB last summer. It got boring to me. I only go on now if I get a notification or a message. Other than that, it's twitter or tumblr for me. Google + would be nice if more people actually used it.
FB needs better privacy setting IMO. I shouldn't be able to see everything someone likes/comments on and vice versa.
I forgot to add, I hate how some people live for Facebook nowadays. I was at this 5k running event so I didn't have phones with me or whatever. After the race, this friend of mine still doesn't want to leave. I asked him why and he said he didn't want to leave unless he had his picture taken with his sports outfit on because he will make this as his profile photo on facebook. So we wandered around looking for friends who brought phones for an hour and we didn't find any. He was so miserable and he wants to go back wearing his attire the next day just to 'brag' this on Facebook. Duh. This same friend also went with me for an outreach program on an orphanage and he had his picture taken with his 'adopted' child. When I told him that he can't upload this on facebook because of the confidentiality purposes regarding the kid's identity he was so pissed because again, he was hoping to make the pic as his primary facebook photo. I CANT at this behavior actually.

OMG sounds desperate and try hard. No offense. I hate people who pollute my feed with attention grabbing /needing posts. I love how I can un follow their news feeds. Also enjoy life. I mean if your with all your friends somewhere having the time of your life then why is all your time dedicated at telling everyone on Facebook how much fun your having.

kfgkdld;d;; SERIOUSLY?
That is probably the stupidest thing I've heard all day. No shade
Twitter is just a ego trip for many It's pathetic how people care for their followers:following ratio and beg for more followers. It's just a breeding ground for narcism. I have a friend who has 1,000 followers and thinks he is a proper celebrity because of it
I'm not saying Facebook is any different, but at least it's more useful than Twitter.
this doesn't surprise me. my interest in facebook diminished years ago and the only reason i still use it is to talk to my uni coursemates about assignments and **** like that. i've also noticed most of the people i'm friends with are using it less and less. it doesn't have the hype it had when it first blew up but that's understandable as trends come and go.
