Constantly? What about all the performances that she never strained for? She strains more than ever now, I'll give you that. But majority of her performances have been far before she started losing her voice at it's peak.
please post 5 performances where she doesn't strain. It may take you a while to find them, but I think they may exist!
they don't. Grammys are awarded based on music not the voice.
by your logic, Allison Krauss who has 27 grammys is a better vocalist than Mariah carey who only has 5?
Did you read my post? I said in terms of what Grammy's THEY have.
Christina has more Grammy's that pertain to vocal performance. Those ARE awarded by vocal performance.
I don't know what is so funny about that, Kelly does have a very loyal fanbase in the US. Even if it's not the largest fanbase it is still there. Especially in comparison to Christina who doesn't really seem to have a loyal fanbase, as proven by Bionic.
Adele's voice is very distinct and sounds flawless is the studio. My only problem with her live vocals is that her voice doesn't go anywhere. The way she sounds at the beginning of a song is the same exact way she sounds at the end. Sometimes you just need to be taken there, ya know?
Her singing is perfectly fine. She hits every note she's suppose to, she doesn't over sing. Her technique is perfectly fine obviously since she's always delivering great consistent vocal performances. There's really nothing more you can ask for, Adele pretty much sounds just like her album.

No they aren't.
The "vocal performance" category doesn't mean it's awarded based on vocals. It's just a way to distinguish the category from songs that don't contain vocals.

You talking about Pop Vocal Performance? The same award where Black Eyed Peas beat Kelly and Pink?

Adele does not have great technique. The reason she's had so much problems with her vocal chords is actually because of that. She sounds great and a lot better than Xtina, but i still wouldn't consider her in today's top 5 vocalist.

Don't get me wrong, I adore Adele and yes, she does everything she needs to do in a live performance.
But in performances like this (and many many others!):
Her voice just goes nowhere. In the studio version she pretty much takes you home at the end of the song. Here just just remains the same.
I can't at you being dragged for ignorance than trying to play like nothing happened.
There was no dragging involved sis, your the one who keeps trying to downplay Christina Aguilera and ADELE's vocals compared to Kelly Clarkson. I'll let you continue.
