Paris is a little city ( london is 10x bigger) yet we are the 1st ww city, tourists are everywhere its horrible.
So when you are new on Paris you want to help them, but after 1 week you are just tired and trash talk them.

I can't excuse parisians tho, but you got to understand them, they are very stressed people who not only have to deal with their everyday sh*t but also tourists. And if you ask help in english, they'll feel attacked. French people can speak english, they're just not that good at it so they'd rather blow you off instead of making the effort to answer you back.

Try to approach them next time by speaking in french first, just a few words, it'll ease them and they'll be more inclined to help you ! I promise, you'll see a huge difference.

A friend of mine had a group of friends with her visiting Paris. She just finished her uni (oh, she became a French teacher by the way) and she made the mistake to approach somebody and to ask where to find a location.

Of course she wanted to show off a little how well she can speak French to her friends, but the French lady she approached literally laughed in her face asking: "Oh, vous etes belge?", which is like the rudest thing to say

What is this mess? You sound like a DailyMail Commenter tbh and all you're comment is is Vacuous & Sensational Statements that mean very little and have very little substance. The chances of the UK actually leaving is small. There are too many people that will vote to stay simply because of the fear and uncertainty of Independence.

OT: I've experienced a lot of rude English people more so than French tbh. But overall, Nigerians have been the rudest of all.

If you're gonna take everything as an insult of course it's not going to work out ... It could've come off a little arrogant but she could've just laughed it off and it would've been a great way to start a conversation.
